I like what I've heard over the years, but don't know his stuff well at all. Where to begin? I know he does a great cover of The Clash's "48 Hours."

You can start by checking out the Pop Rivets( his punk band 79/80)..During the 80's, there were several "garage" bands including Thee Milkshakes, The Headcoats, and Thee Mighty Caesars( my fav of these)..There are a bunch of others but these bands would be a good introduction..

i like thee headcoatees. that atonal caterwauling is my jams. never cared for his solo stuff but admittedly havent heard but maybe a song at most.
