Great post. Agreed on all counts. I think it's their best album, though the new one is REALLY great, too. Still bummed I missed 'em last month.

I saw them 3 x in my life.

I could have opened up for them once at CBGB if Sal didn't convince me to play guitar for GG Allin instead.

Sal made the right call. How much mileage would you have gotten out of "my band opened for SLF once"?

In the end turning down the SLF gig because Midge was playing with GG and the Staten Island Sewer Scum is a much better story than if we had played with SLF. A MUCH better story.

I´m baby siting some dogs (including mine) this whole weekend (actually that is also my job at the moment) so I´m at my home with the dogs, drinking Coke, writing some shit for my zine and checking out what is on the net. And listening my current playlist on shuffle (from early 80s hardcore to Alanis Morissette and some more crazy stuff).
