Great night of heavy music at St. Vitus Bar in heavy metal Brooklyn.
Very cool venue. Plenty of great album covers on the bar. Judas Priest 'Sad Wings', Mercyful Fate, Sabbath Bloody Sabbath...I felt at home.
I had no idea that Tony from Municipal Waste had a side band 'Iron Reagan' that he fronted. They were thrashy and tight and Tony was very nice for this, the 2nd time I met him. Only thing is that they sound almost exactly like Municipal Waste.
Only Crime were a lot heavier and noisy than I ever remember them being. Bill Stevenson remains a complete fucking ANIMAL behind the drum kit.
Very good sound system. I felt the bass and kick drum rattling my bones. Scanny and Pilster were there and we ate Spanish food. I didn't fart a lot.
