Sohrab from Savak has started a YouTube channel to post his live videos from '85-'88 in DC.

One Last Wish! Beefeater! Dag Nasty! Marginal Man! Gray Matter! Soul Side! Honor Role!

Thanks for sharing this, too!

Sohrab's a good egg! Easy Creatures played with SAVAK when we opened for Soulside. Cool band.

Thanks (and thanks to scannest for the initial message); he's a friend of a friend; SAVAK were awesome the last time I saw them at Bell House back in 2018. I've seen him play in Obits a few times, too. I think it's the same guy iirc.

Most of those were ones that were on the DC85 website back in 2014. I downloaded about 30+ of those shows.

All of those (and many more) have been on his Vimeo website for like 5 years. When I used to trade videos I had several very generated copies of his shows for years, he really captured a lot of great bands and not just D.C. ones. I actually put some clips of those shows on my youtube site like 13 years ago and actually some like 2 weeks ago.

I keep meaning to buy the gear and digitize my old VHS and Hi8mm videos for "future punx", I think a lot of stuff on VHS tapes is rotting away for good in some old drawer or garage or landfill.
