My stuff is creeping back up. Trying to stick with some of our more low-key investments.

I only go with three types of funds - Target Index, S&P 500 Index, or a Balanced Index - usually Fidelity or Vanguard. An exception is a Vanguard tax free bond fund I've been trying out in place of a savings account. Taking it one week at a time, but I haven't changed any investments during the drop and the climb back.

If someone would have bought a 1000 shares of Kodak prior to the start of the week, you could have made $25k on it this week thru today now that they are a chemical producing company instead of a film company. This is driven primarily by a government loan they received. Give it a few months and we will have a few members of the Senate and the House getting investigated for insider trading.

What fun would that be? We would just continue to argue over what genre a band belongs in. Or about some guy from a shit DC band who got kicked off of a label because he outted himself.

Maybe we can talk about how Man U advanced to the Champions League or how Cardiff City lost their round today to stay down in the minor leagues. Or about guys in the NBA making tens of thousands of dollars a game complaining about their hotel rooms that 98% of the country would be plenty happy staying in. Or how AEW has been beating NXT on the Wednesday Night ratings.

Thanks to Welly's article in the last issue of Artcore I noticed that there was an used LP that I had glanced at for about 2 years but didn't think twice about picking it up.

It was the Mortal Micronotz first LP and just tonight I listened to again.

It was the 2nd pressing with the yellow center labels. It's really good early 80's snotty rock punk. Thanks Welly, you may have grown up on a small island called Wales, but you have shown some US born punks about music that was made in their own backyards.

On a non-music related side note, from my March-May statements I lost about 35% across the board, so I'm just not even checking anymore. To me, it's like worrying about how much your house costs, unless you are going to do sell next week, why does it matter much? I want to pay less yearly property taxes. Every time I hear a moron co-worker try to brag about how much Zillow says their house is worth I think "Enjoy paying $10K property taxes you jackass".

Sorta like saying if I would have stayed in my house in CA for about 2-3 years longer I could have made a half million dollars by selling it. Hindsight 20/20 it would have been a better deal than relocating for a promotion.
