Tar seems a bit underrated these days. I already have the albums in the box and haven't pulled them out in awhile. Good stuff.

I should give TAR another listen. At the time those records came out they didn't do much for me, but theoretically they should be right in my wheelhouse. I couldn't justify spending $120 on the vinyl box for 2 LPs, an EP, and a live record. I see that they're gone now.
man, the emails from bandcamp are coming in heavy already

I just spent a little under $50 on 7 releases: Pre-order of the new Daniel Romano record, Cobra Poems A couple older records by Jimmy Montague, a new Bandcamp discovery. His record Casual Use may be my fave new record of 2021. The State of Mind record by Stiff Richards A couple songs by Bird on the Moon, which is Pat Sansone of Wilco/Autumn Defense The Slip-Ons 2 song release, even though they priced the digital download same as the vinyl which is pretty dopey. But it's Brock, so I'll let it slide.

It’s not bandcamp Friday. But for whomever does the bandcamp things, we just put our new single up for free for a limited time.
I'mma gonna pick up the live JAWBOX dealy and this pretty, emo-y record "Fates Worse Than Death" by SHORT FICTIONS. And there's a new record by semi-legendary, one man power-pop band THE TOMS, "Tomplicated".

I picked up this Sonic Youth bundle earlier to benefit the Texas Choice Fund (well some of the proceeds go to it); the download is only $5 if you buy the shirt and it sounds GREAT (playing it now); wav files sounds like it's straight from the soundboard and one of my favorite eras. You can also choose a 1995 show from Austin. Anyway, "Flower" has always been one of my favorite SY songs, so I jumped on this. Thank you for the heads up, Greg!
I may have more in the queue before the end of the day. Thinking about that Gray Matter Food for Thought repress and some other stuff maybe.

And finally, I got the same shirt as you but with the Austin set.
Then I bought the other set too. A good cause, can't beat it.

I grabbed One Last Wish 1986 on some green-swirl or something vinyl. Love that album, couldn't resist. I never had it on vinyl.

I got it, too, and added the Egg Hunt 7" and the new Soulside 7" since I've never owned the former and slept on the latter for an all-Dischord order/BC Friday. Psyched!
An OLW song came on my Spotify Discover Weekly this week and I loved it; liked them but never spent too much time and the song I know best is the one of the State of the Union comp, so I'm excited to dig in further.

Never heard a note and should change that, but he collaborated with Talbot Adams, who I sorta knew in his NYU days (he was a friend of my oldest high school friend, etc.). I have stories if you're so inclined.
