It’s the demos, not [i]Bollocks[i], and I’ve heard that they’re using MP3 quality sources for some of it. Overpriced and unnecessary, especially since I’m guessing you already have most of this stuff, Lew.

Ah, you must have been on the Hoffman forum. I'm probably going to buy it regardless to have all of it in one package. I guess we will see what the sound quality is when it releases and people actually have the CDs in hand. It's for sale in the UK on the official Sex Pistols website so for now I believe it has to be a legit release.

It’s definitely an official release. Seems overpriced for what it is, especially if some of it is sourced from MP3.

It's out. Found some FLAC files yesterday. I think it is the first time I heard the demo of "Bodies".

I ordered a physical copy on Amazon either yesterday or this morning. I don't remember which.

Yep. Downloaded the FLAC version from someone on Soulseek a week ago and been listening to it every day since. Great to finally have all of the sessions in their entirety in one package (or is there something still missing?? that would be hilarious), but I really don't see myself paying such price for a physical copy, having so many technical faults -- mp3 sourced material (confirmed it myself in Audacity), poor packaging, and what not.

Price has dropped from $111 but still fairly expensive. I am a semi completist so I had to buy a copy.

I had this one on tape, too (probably a dub?). It traveled around back then (late '80s/early '90s). It's not The Original Pistols Live or Live at Chelmsford Prison as far as great/essential for fans non-Bollocks SP releases go, but it's pretty good from what I remember.
