It looks like it's someone's birthday party with a ton of bands doing covers, etc. I strongly suspect a clusterfuck that's not much fun unless you know the guest of honor.

It's Flora from MAAFA's birthday show.....MAAFA are a great Afro-hardcore band....check 'em out.

And I think it's a step above just bands doing covers.

You have 3/4's of Scream doing Scream songs (everyone except Franz), you have Shawn Brown doing Dag songs, and you have Sab Grey (with Gavin Van Vlack) and MAAFA doing a set which I believe will include a bunch of Iron Cross songs.

Can't think of a better way to spend a Friday night.

I realize my response was pretty glib and based solely on a flier I saw online. You obviously know a lot more about it.
I'd still rater watch the Dirty Nil do their pop/punk/metal thing.

Really wish I was in town for this; dang. Curious where this or is it one of those what we do is secret type of deals.

It's funny how that place went from being a well hyped BBQ joint to a pretty grungy, DIY punk rock/metal venue. I stopped by early in the summer to get a bite to eat and found they were in the middle of an all-day black metal fest in the backyard. Had no idea.
