Not every musical project posted by every member has been my cup of tea, but objectively speaking, it’s all been pretty decent. I don’t recall ever hearing anything that made me cringe. In contrast, I just checked out stuff posted by users on another music-focused forum, and it was mostly very painfully bad. I mean, after listening to 4 or 5 clips, I wanted to throw my guitar in a dumpster because I had lost faith in the idea that people can make music worth listening to. I’m still pretty shaken, honestly.

I don’t want to publicly shame anyone. The internet is a small place. All I can say is that it was a thread from the Steve Hoffman Forums. There are multiple threads for such public displays, and I honestly couldn’t find the one that was so cringeworthy. That place moves fast and has a billion threads. Finding a specific thread that you are not following can be nearly impossible.

Thanks for tolerating some of the noise I've put up here over the years.
