Miami is the least r'n'r friendly major city in the U.S. Nothing but Latin pop and dance music 12-inch singles.

Gregg Foreman lived there for a while, which I thought was interesting.

I think he still plays in Cat Power's band and I think she was living there then or still does; gotta think that's related somehow.

Well The Eat and eventually The Holy Terrors came out of there, so it couldn't be THAT bad for rock 'n roll. I definitely get why there's so much of that kind of stuff you mentioned, though. Not gonna lie. I wouldn't mind 12" copies of some of those Expose singles or Miami bass stuff, but I'm mostly looking for punk/hardcore type stores. This one seems to have some cool stuff.

Any store that stocks Vatican Commandos (Moby's old CTHC band) reissues should be worth checking out, right? Right?

Don't have any record store suggestions, but if you're hungry, go to Coconut Grove and sit at the counter at "The Last Carrot" and get a veggie pita with their awesome dressing, and an organe/mango drink. And News Cafe in South Beach is a nice breakfast spot.
