Have you ever heard of SST records? Or this band Black Flag....?

What order would you rank the records?
Self Titled
Valley of the Dolls
Kiss Me Deadly
Unreleased 4th album

I barely remember what the unreleased album sounds like or if I've even listened to it, but I agree with the rankings of the 1st 3 studio albums. I'll go one step further, though.
1) S/T U.S.
2) S/T U.K.
3) Valley of the Dolls/Kiss Me Deadly (tie)
I think KMD is more consistent, but Valley has higher heights if that makes sense, especially the title track, "King Rocker" and "Running with the Boss Sound."
Fun fact: when I and Jack Rabid interviewed Milo and Bill back in 2016, we spent probably 15-20 minutes of the hour-long chat talking about Generation X and that 1st album in particular and our mutual/shared love for it.

Definitely some major similarity here between the verse riff here and the riff in "She's My Ex"

You should check out Tim Hinely’s new book, Mudge. There’s a lengthy discussion of the My War tour — you can read up on what youse missed.
